Kind of you to leave Sang Bin's empty net miss off the recap. When you brought him up as a sub for Bongi, I thought for sure there was going to be a "speaking of Sang Bin..." coming! 😩
Yeah. What can you say about that?!! I thought about writing about how he should be used. He is great for late game legs, but in what spot? Not as a striker.
So it's on my mind, but there's like 3000 more games so I'll get to it.
I’m not very soccer smart and here’s my question. If you have 5 subs why can’t you sub a package in to the backfield? Like have 3 guys always practice and play together and when it comes time put all three in?
Because to me it feels like our defense is phenomenal until we start substitutions. Then it feels like whoever came on isn’t on the same page and the D breaks form more often.
The Loons sometimes do that in midfield like they did with Lod and Dotson last week. Even two players next to each other might be better than sticking one defender out there with the starters.
